Shiny shapes!

In maths this week, Year 3 have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. We have been so impressed by the children's use of mathematical vocabulary! They have confidently noticed parallel and perpendicular lines in the shapes that they see, as well as horizontal and vertical lines of symmetry.

Today, we started to explore 3D shapes in the world around us. We took our time counting the vertices, edges and flat faces on each 3D shape.
