In Year 3 Computing today we continued our journey into coding by exploring the Micro:bit, a mini computer that we can program to achieve lots of different outcomes. We loved exploring the device and creating images do display on it, as well as using it to create a flashing heart animation.
This week, Year 3 began their new learning all about fractions! We have started to use the words 'numerator' and 'denominator' to refer to the top and bottom parts of a fraction. Now we all know that when a denominator is bigger, that means the whole has been divided into smaller parts!
In history this week, we learned all of the vocabulary that we will need to understand Prehistoric Britain. Most importantly, we learned that prehistory means ‘before written records.’
